In Romania there are still many abandoned children living in government care facilities. We work with children who live in orphanages, group homes, and foster care.
Some of these children we have known all of their lives and others are newly abandoned. Whatever their specific reason for being in government care, they all want someone to believe in them and help them when they are in need.
The main goal of our ministry is to share the lives of these children by being a consistent source of comfort and care, and giving them opportunities to laugh and enjoy life.
Along with biweekly visits, we provide medical care, toiletries, holiday celebrations, birthday presents and outings for the kids.
Most importantly, though, we share the love of Jesus. We can be there for encouragement, advice and to share in the smiles and the tears.
