Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that God the Father is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, infinitely perfect and that in the beginning he created all things in the universe. (Genesis 1:1, Jeremiah 10:12, Psalm 18:30, Ephesians 1:3-14, Hebrews 4:13)
We believe that Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God, he was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, was buried, and rose from the dead after 3 days. After his resurrection he ascended into heaven where he sits at the right hand of God. (Matthew 1:18-25, Romans 5:8, Philippians 2:6-11)
We believe that the Holy Spirit guides and directs mankind to be convicted of their sins, led to repentance and empowered to live godly lives of service to the glory of God. (John 16:7-15, Romans 8:26-27, 1 Corinthians 2:10-16)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin is now lost and can obtain salvation only by accepting God’s free gift of grace through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 51:5, Romans 3:23-24)
We believe in the resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life in heaven. (Philippians 3:20-21, Revelation 20:11-15)
We believe the body of Christ transcends denomination and that all true believers are united together with Christ as the head. (Ephesians 4:4-16, 1 Corinthians 12:12-20, 1 Peter 3:8-9)
